Although we are still in the infancy stages of the sanctuary the outreach programs have begun, albeit sporadically, as funds allow. We envisage a variety of educational opportunities for people of all ages:

  • Tourist groups, schools, scouts/guides or individuals will be able to enjoy a talk on the animals in our care.
  • Educational programs either at the centre or your school are afforded.
  • Guided walking tours around the sanctuary where you will be able to observe the behaviour of a wolf pack – firsthand… you may even hear the wolves howl!
  • Hands-on activities for children comparing the wolf’s family dynamics and interaction vs. the human family.
  • Teaching them to work together like wolves do.
  • Learn the role of predators vs. prey in the natural food chain and how the wolf fits into his special habitat.
  • Learn about wolves - species, biology and habits.
Please email info@wolfsa.org.za if you need us to come to your school.
